I am an academic archaeologist who regularly flintknaps and practices experimental archaeology. Currently, I am a Master's student at UNBC who is almost done my program. I have close to a decade of experience analyzing stone and faunal tools. For experimental archaeology, I have close to 3 years
As a teenager, I was spending most of my free time digging near Poitiers and Angouleme in France (did it for over 10 years).

Then adult life in corporate communication.
The Laboratory for Evolutionary and Experimental Archaeology and Prehistory (LAPEEX - Laboratório de Arqueologia e Pré-História Evolutiva e Experimental), headed by EXARC Member Prof. Dr. João Carlos Moreno de Sousa, is the newest laboratory for experimental archaeology in Brazil.
At the annual conference of the EAA there will be several sessions related to experimental archaeology which EXARC happily supports. They fall in theme 4, "People of the Present - Peopling the Past".

I enjoy ancient history and learning about technology that people used in their daily lives. I have had the privilege to take a class under Greg Nunn in flintknapping.
This new exhibition will be officially opened at 11 a.m. Archaeologists and excavation technicians are guests in the museum from 12 noon. They bring their tools with them and demonstrate how modern archaeology works.
