Historical and Archaeological Interpretation

I have been involved in experimental archaeology since the early 80's, specializing in prehistoric houses in Britain.
My ongoing research work in the last twenty years has been exploring Late Iron Age roundhouses.
In particular 1:1 scale construction, with evidence tightly locked to individual excavations, and the living conditions within the houses.
I work outreach with many groups and organizations such as scouts, local authorities, and museums.
I have had the good fortune to work under the umbrella of Butser Ancient Farm for many years, with a number of my buildings being part of the educational environment.
My ongoing research continues with buildings, and in addition, social use of prehistoric sites.
