Born in Lerici (SP) in 1965, I - Edoardo Ratti, graduated at the Genoa University in 2004 with the thesis "Prehistory and its spreading across interactive experimentation". Archaeological excavations in Italy and abroad 1997-2001. From 2005 onward, I organise popular scientific events about prehistory, explaining the past and science, like for example the Paleofestival at La Spezia (Italy). I regularly interpret the past by means of interactive workshops and reproduce ancient objects for both museum exhibitions and research; this I do for governmental organisations. I work in Liguria & Tuscany (Italy) and am member of the "Istituto Italiano Preistoria Protostoria" (Florence - Italy). In 2007 I published an illustrated children's book about experimental archaeology and the Palaeolithic. The second book about Neolithic is in print. I do teaching, both at schools and at universities, associations about experiencing prehistoric life and experimental archaeology, create artistic objects like Neolithic ceramics, stone tools, cave paintings all using prehistoric methods only.
