Head of Calafell Historical Heritage Comission / Advisor
(Calafell, 1948) Archaeologist, researcher and lecturer at the University of Barcelona. He has become one of the main academic references in the field of educational museography in Spain. Joan Santacana has published over 600 scientific and informative works. He excavated the Iberian Citadel of Calafell in the early 1980s and later on designed and developed the reconstruction project of the site. Nowadays, he is still involved in the site in the role of advisor and has been appointed as Commissioner for Calafell Historical Heritage.
