REACH Re-designing Access to Cultural Heritage

REACH (RE-designing Access to Cultural Heritage for a wider participation in preservation, (re-)use and management of European culture), is a three-year project focused on the promotion of participatory approaches to culture and digitization activities for the preservation of cultural heritage.

The REACH goal is supported on line by the digital platform which offers a set of multidisciplinary conduits for the exchange of expertise and experience between people and institutions. The platform is opened to the contribution of the whole community of cultural heritage and it will continue to function also after the end of the project.

In order to offer concrete participatory experiences, the REACH project implements four Thematic Pilots. One of these is devoted to identifying successful participatory practices, lessons and to collect best practice examples among different types of cultural heritage institutions. EXARC and REACH will cooperate to create an active network of professionals and facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences on participatory approaches in cultural heritage institutions. On this purpose they will participate to the initiatives of common interest organized in the framework of their own activities. EXARC and REACH exchanged social media accounts to be regularly updated about results and upcoming activities for mutual benefit.
