Celebrate the ancient new year, and the night when the barrier between the spirit worlds and ours is most connected. Explore the history of Samhain, and the archaeology, fire, magic and mystery of this special night. Wander through the Samhain fires, play Halloween games, and have your fortune told by Miss Fortune. Enjoy our famous Shadow Puppet show, created and told for one magical night a year. The evening finishes with the spectacular wicker Kelpie Burn as we recite the Samhain address to the spirits under the stars.

Guising and Fancy dress is encouraged and there will be a competition for the best-dressed child and adult.
