As a child, I taught myself spinning with a handspindle, built a warp-weighted loom or made pottery out of self-extracted clay for my interest in handcrafts. Soon I knew that I wanted to become an archaeologist. 1998 I joined the association ExperimentA and since then, I am looking into the areas of archaeo-technique, experimental archaeology and education. I am still fascinated by the making of an object, be it a bronze knife, a clay vessel or a textile. it is a matter of particular concern of mine not only to acquire the technical know-how for myself but also to impart it in a lively, tangible and understandable way.
