I am an archaeologist. After my studies of Prehistory, Classical Archaeology and Old History at the University of Tübingen/Germany I was member of the direction of the archaeological excavations in Brig-Glis/Waldmatte, Valais-Switzerland. Since 1997 I work in the Pfahlbaumuseum Unteruhldingen. My tasks are the supervision of the collection and archives, organisation and realisation of scientific tasks like excavations, creation of exhibitions, project development, training of the visitor guides, performance of hands-on activities and writing of publications. My focus is on the creation of exhibitions, museum pedagogic, European projects (ArchaeoLive and Delphi), event organisation, experimental archaeology and scientific research.
My publications deal with the Neolithic Cultures in the Mediterranean, Neolithic and Bronze Age in Middle Europe, Roman period in Switzerland, Early medieval period und exhibitions. Actually I work on a PhD thesis on Neolithic hilltop settlements in Southern Germany.
