Mark Stout received his B.A. with Highest Distinction in Anthropology from the University of California, San Diego with additional training in lithic technologies from the Lithic Technology Laboratory at the University of California, Riverside. His academic research has included artifact and artifact replicative analysis of prehistoric Southern California shell-bead industries, flint borers from the PPNB Levant, minimum assemblage requirements for small-scale beer production, and various lithic technologies throughout the world.
Mr. Stout is currently employed as an archaeological technician with over six years of combined field and laboratory experience in multiple CRM projects throughout Southern California and is an Instructional Laboratory Technician for San Diego Miramar College.
