
I am a Classics student currently between my undergrad degree and Masters. I have a strong interest in ancient food, primarily Roman food and dining. I have done some recipe recreation of food and wine mainly from the Latin cookbook Apicius, and some recreation of ancient perfumes sourced in Pliny's Natural History. For my Masters, I intend to pursue my research also into ancient sensory studies and look deeper at the ancient contemporary multi-sensory experience of food in various social contexts.
