“Know how” is the motto at the 2021 Monument Days. In the museum, we immerse ourselves in the Roman era and create artistic objects. An afternoon for everyone who likes to work according to ancient models.

Many everyday objects of the Roman period were skillfully designed and finely decorated. As part of the memorial days, the Museum of Prehistory (es) Zug is offering a work afternoon on the Roman era. Adults, children and families can work to their heart's content and immerse themselves in Roman culture. From the Mühle game board made of slate to the key ring in the form of a mini sandal to the Roman oil lamp, there is something for everyone.

At 2:15 p.m., 3:15 p.m. and 4:15 p.m., museum employees will explain technical masterpieces of the Roman era in the exhibition. The short tours last about 30 minutes. Admission is free, for some works a contribution is made to the cost of materials. A registration is not necessary.

Elsewhere in the canton of Zug and throughout Switzerland, there will be on the weekend of 11/12. September numerous other events as part of the Monument Days 2021. The full program is available online.
