What do experts read from prehistoric animal images about the relationship between humans and animals? This is revealed by museum director Ulrich Eberli on a public evening tour of the special exhibition.

The exhibition “Adored and Hunted – Staging Animals Since the Stone Age” brings together a variety of animal images from prehistory and early history. The representations reflect the changing relationship between humans and animals. Food, deity, labor and companions - over the millennia it has been subject to constant change.

On Thursday, February 3, museum director Ulrich Eberli will guide the public through the special exhibition. The tour starts at 6.30 p.m. at the museum reception and lasts around 45 minutes. The number of places is limited, so registration is recommended. It can be sent by email to info.urgeschichte@zg.ch or by telephone (T 041 728 28 80, weekdays).
