The Medieval festival 'Remember the Glory' is held for the seventh time in a row at Tuida Fortress. Created on the idea of Milen Petrov, financed by the Municipality of Sliven and carried out by the team of Tuida Fortress and Club for Medieval Martial Arts 'Ratina', Sliven. The objectives of the event are, on the one hand, to recreate the way of life and culture of the societies that inhabited the region during Antiquity and the Middle Ages, and on the other hand, it is a major marketing tool through which the site is promoted.

Over the years, 'Remember the Glory' Medieval Festival has evolved and progressed, and 'Remember the Glory' has become a brand for Tuida Fortress. The medieval assembly 'Remember the Glory' is held annually on the occasion of the holiday of the city of Sliven - Dimitrov Day. It is organized in the spirit of the old Bulgarian military tradition - the Autumn gathering of the troops, which the Bulgarians held on the day of the serpent fighter and great martyr Dimitar Mirotochiv (Thessalonica).

During the event, on the territory of the Tuida Fortress, reenactors from all over the country and abroad recreated the life and military work of the societies that inhabited the fortification in the period from Antiquity to the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. Visitors can get an insight into the lifestyle, traditions, culture, customs, warfare and even games of our ancestors.
