Stone, wood and metal: raw materials shape human history. At experience stations and during short tours, we focus on materials and their influence on prehistory. Try it out!

Archaeological finds and the materials used tell experts a lot about trade and technology in the past. At Zug's "Open Day" we bring you closer to the development of mankind based on raw materials and technical achievements. Adventure stations with replicas of original finds invite you to join in and try things out. Short guided tours take place at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. They last about 20 minutes and can be attended without registration. The Museum of Prehistory(s) is open on August 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
