EXARC at a Fair

Early June, EXARC was represented at Archaeoworks-2, a fair for young German speaking archaeologists in Mainz. It was our first time at such a fair. Many members had sent us material so we could show the variety of archaeological open-air museums across Europe. A half an hour presentation was given on the nature and future of archaeological open-air museums. Many questions regarding jobs and internships or work experience places were answered. The young archaeologists, a large group of which had already passed their MA exam, were seriously interested. Many thanks to Dr Guber who staffed the stand together with Roeland Paardekooper.
EXARC is interested in repeating such a presentation at other relevant fairs across the world.
