Health and beauty are inextricably linked. People have known that as long as they exist. During this weekend, Museum Park Archeon will show how people, from prehistoric times to the 21st century, deal with the care and well-being of their bodies. 

Forging is of all times, before metal was used there was already a flint smith. Sharp objects such as knives, axes and adzes were made from flint. Later these objects were made of bronze and then of iron and steel.

Dear friends, this year again, we would like to organize a weapon training and crafts weekend at Archeon. Not only fighters are welcome, but also crafts(wo)men and children. The main purpose of this weekend is to have fun and enjoy each other's company, and to have the opportunity to learn from each other. Of course, there will be public, so authenticity is a must.

Gravendam celebrates a 14th Century Weekend. A weekend full of entertainment, information and medieval bustle.

All kinds of crafts, traders and stalls can be found in the medieval streets and at the market.

On September 11 and 12, the group Dutch Indian Friends will show the beginning of the Wild West! They show not only the well-known tipis in different sizes from this period, but also various other shelters of the Indians, such as the so-called Trapper's / Mountainman's. During the day, the Indians give demonstrations including making fire, throwing a knife and axe, archery and cooking

The terrain of the "Oertijdpark" entirely belongs to our ancestors this weekend. The ancient people show life in prehistory. The Stone Age, the Iron Age and the Bronze Age come to life. People live, work, eat, do and feel just like they do now. Experience the primeval time, experience the human being who is still in full contact with nature. Feel their dependence, experience their hard work.

During the Prehistory festival, our Prehistory park is overflowing with prehistoric people. The hunebed builders and their descendants imitate life in prehistoric times. With a group of prehistoric people, the Stone Age, Iron Age and Bronze Age are brought to life. Lots of things are going on! People live, work, eat, do and feel, as they did long ago.
