Medieval summer 2021
On the long Easter weekend, the open-air museum invites you to a colorful festival with a market.
In the village square, traders offer historical handicrafts. There is a lot to discover here, from hand-woven to hand-made and fine-painted.
The puppet stage brings the medieval people's imagination "Between Heaven and Earth" in a vivid and humorous way.
How wool becomes clothing
In the museum village, everything revolves around clothing. Whether wool from freshly shorn Skudden, an old breed of sheep, whether hemp fiber or flax: from the raw material to the finished piece of clothing, the different manufacturing processes can be clearly experienced.
And if you want, you can spin, felt, weave, dye or sew yourself!
