Since 2019 I have been delivering living history sessions to museums with a group called Weorod. Within this group, I have interpreted and analysed dig reports from sites, mainly in southern England.
Hi, I‘m Ursula. I am an objects conservator, based in Switzerland. Next to working in the Museum and having access to finds, I‘m in reenactment as an active part of the Legio XI from Vindonissa, portraying the time between 70-100 A.D.
I have worked as a field anthropologist in several historic and prehistoric sites, in Spain (roman and muslim context) and Israel (Natufian site of Ain Mallaha-Eynan)
I am an historic tailor and study prehistoric clothing for 20 years. For about 15 years do living history of the early iron age. Beside all kinds of textile technics, I try all skills early iron age people needed to know as specialy concening fishing.
Sally is an archaeologist and freelance heritage educator with an MSc in Experimental Archaeology. She is also an Honorary Associate Research Fellow at Exeter University.
I have been involved in experimental archaeology and reenactment since 2007. Initially still in the early Middle Ages, I quickly slipped and ended up in the Iron Age and Bronze Age. I was impressed by the Bronze Age string skirts that I am reconstructing.
My interdisciplinary work marries my social work training and experience with my doctoral training in folklore; specifically, I consider how people do and have used folkloric elements to create and reinforce a sense of personal sanctuary, especially in times of precarity.
I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Iowa and I study ceramic loom weights from the Late Neolithic, Chalcolithic, and Early Bronze Age in southwestern Iberia.
