I am an avid practitioner of traditional living skills and primitive technology of all kinds and have followed this interest into the academic field of Experimental Archaeology, in which I hold an MA in Experimental Archaeology and a PhD on the ‘Microscopic Analysis of Prehistoric Tanning Technol

I am an archaeologist working at the National History Museum of Latvia archaeology department since 2007, also a member of the Association of the Archaeologists of Latvia. I am also working on different projects as a self-employed field archaeologist.

I am a Dutch national but live in Italy since 1983 and since 1994 in Rome. I have always been attracted to history and archaeology in general but concentrate on Roman history.

I am an academic archaeologist teaching at Grinnell College in Iowa, USA. I work with analysis and replication of prehistoric technologies, especially stone tools and atlatls, and early agricultural technology.

I first ventured into the history and heritage industry with my husband in 1988, presenting living history for heritage and education. As part of this, we presented both the social and military aspects of the past.

I am a Heritage Consultant, working with a number of institutions in Ireland including the Irish National Heritage Park in Wexford, where we are rebuilding all our sites at present, covering 9000 years of Ireland's past.
