During the national Science Weekend, everyone can get acquainted with various sciences in an accessible way. On Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 October between 11:00 and 17:00, various archaeologists will be in the Hunebed Center to show you how archaeologists excavate and what they learn from it.

During the prehistoric weeks you see how things were thousands of years ago! In the Mesolithic, the stories of the hunters and gatherers are told. At the first farmers you can twine a bracelet. The inhabitants of the Funnel Beaker farm make nettle tea that you can taste. In the Bronze Age there are demonstrations and it is shown which specific materials are used on the land.

St John's Feast

On the day of Saint John we celebrate the summer festival, the festival of sun and light. Dance, sing and we make a cheerful flower wreath. In many nature religions the solstice was and is considered an important festival and we will celebrate that together with the visitors.

Mammoth Days
