The first highlight of the season is the Long Museum Night. Under the motto “For Those Who Know Nothing - Fantasy meets History”, visitors can expect an exciting supporting program from 6 pm until midnight. Did you know? Without archaeology no fantasy: The dragon glass from the series "Game of Thrones" goes back to flintstone, the "Lord of the Rings" is an Iron Age road movie. Suitable for the start of the last season of "Game of Thrones" on April 14, you will learn more about the historical roots of fantasy in the evening before.
Lectures and workshops on the subject of "Fantasy meets History", fire-eaters, live music from "Brisinga", orcs and other creatures, as well as a colorful market life and much more expect the visitors. This night is framed by light installations by the company "Light Art", which last year enchanted the museum with lighting technology.
