Make your own Knife

No Viking left home without his own knife. At the Viking houses you can forge your own knife this weekend! Our blacksmith Thomas Hanke has heated up the forge and is waiting for you! Under his guidance, make a utility knife with a wooden handle and a blade length of about 10 cm. Plan about two hours for this, depending on your skill level. Success is guaranteed. Material and tools are provided. The participation fee is 60 euros and already includes the material costs.

On Saturday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. there will be two workshops with two people each. On Sunday there is only one workshop at 10 am. 

Registration on both days is only possible on site from 9 a.m. A free place cannot be guaranteed. 

The workshop is not suitable for children.

The forge is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It takes about 2 hours to make a knife. Further information and registration on site at the blacksmith.
