Spinning and weaving, sewing, embroidery and needle binding

From the raw wool to the spun thread to the finished woven fabric, which can then be sewn, Maria Åhrén shows textile techniques from the Viking Age. Embroidery and needle binding, "knitting" with just one needle, are also on the program. The "fashion-conscious" Viking can buy quite a few beautiful items of clothing from her.
