In the Viking Age, grain was mostly eaten as porridge, the daily preparation of bread was much too time-consuming and therefore rare. But today Iris Barkman is baking bread for the king's table at her stand. If your stomach growls from looking and being amazed, you should definitely follow the scent of freshly baked flatbread. The Viking woman prepares this delicacy at her fireplace. Topped with quark, honey or onions and cabbage, it becomes a royal delicacy.
