(De)constructing the Mesolithic. A History of Hut Reconstructions in the Netherlands

The construction methods of Dutch reconstructions of Mesolithic huts have several characteristics, such as their oval shape, their relatively large size, the wickerwork that is wrapped around vertical oaken poles, and the flexible hazel or willow branches used to create a central axis.
