At the start of the 2022 season, the 'Roman baker' will immerse visitors in the world of ancient bread baking in the Roman Villa Borg on Sunday, February 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The ancient kitchen's ovens are fired up again after the winter break to demonstrate to visitors how the Romans prepared their delicious bread. Visitors can watch the Roman baker at work and receive valuable information. He knows a lot about the eating and drinking habits of the Romans, knows many anecdotes and maybe gives the decisive tip for 'baking bread at home.

The  2G-plus regulation applies in the Roman Villa Borg archeology park. Proof of vaccination must be presented in a digitally readable form. Mouth and nose protection must be worn in the museum rooms. The current Corona regulation applies (see also www.villa-borg.de/aktuelles ).

The cost of the "Roman Baking" theme day is included in the entrance fee to the villa.
