Celebrate the Easter with some ancient traditions and crafts!
This Easter we will celebrate the abundance of Springtime, and the new life it brings. Follow the spring Hare in a new trail across the site ‘the Hare Hunt’, celebrating the sacred animal of Ostara, the ancient goddess of Spring.
There will be extra hands on activities with a Spring museum tour sharing the traditions of the season, and pottery making and decorating as part of the BBC Art That Made Us Festival 2022.
You can also join in with hands on activities working with wool and clay, and see the Crannog Kitchen at work, cooking up tasters with wild garlic breads.
Every tour includes the popular Crannog Puppet show. Get ready for lots of laughs and lots of fun with our special Iron Age story.
Tours run every hour from 10am until 3pm.
Our café is open 10-4 serving hot and cold drinks and snacks during your visit.
Dogs always welcome!
