Textiles were already being dyed several thousand years ago. In this practical course, participants will learn which plants are suitable for dyeing, which shades they produce and how wool can be dyed with them.
At the end of the course you will hold a naturally dyed piece of silk (shawl or scarf) and a 100g skein of wool in your hands. Registration directly via Info@mittelalterkraeuter.de
Time: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m
Costs: EUR 90 plus admission p.p. P
The day course takes place outdoors. Please bring a snack for the break. Children under the age of 14 can only take part if accompanied by an adult, since coloring takes place on an open fire. Please bring rubber gloves and an apron (or clothes that don't mind paint splashes).
