Celebrate Father’s Day at the Crannog Centre with some extra special family activities. The Crannog Kitchen will be cooking up Iron Age treats on the open fire, alongside hands-on whittling and hurdle-making demonstrations. As part of our Father’s Day festivities, and in collaboration with European Archaeology Days 2022 we are hosting a special session to get up close to 2500-year-old pottery. Includes handling and cleaning in the big ‘pot-wash’ and behind-the-scenes curator tours in the museum exploring objects not currently on display. Every tour includes the popular Crannog Puppet show. Get ready for lots of laughs and lots of fun with our special Iron Age story.

Tours run all day every 45 minutes from 10am - 4pm.

Our café is open 10-4 serving hot and cold drinks and snacks during your visit.

Dogs are always welcome!
