Āraiši Ezerpils Archaeological Park invites families with children to participate at the annual European Archaeology Days on 17th June.
Participants could learn what the archeologists do, participate at the simulated excavations and make notes. Everyone can join the artefact recognition game. There will be different workshops during whole day. Visitors can try to make ropes from nettles, grate grains, participate in a ceramics workshop and more.
The Folk group “Putni” will take care for music and some games. The Lake settlement and indoor exposition at the Visitor centre will also welcome visitors.
The event is organized together with Latvian Association of Archaeologists.
