The Archaeological Museum of Carmo, together with Prehistoric Skills Events, invites all those interested to travel to Prehistory, more specifically to Chalcolithic (5000 years ago), recreating and reproducing the main everyday artefacts and activities of the communities that once lived.

Actions directed at students, adults, children (from 6 years old) and anyone who wants to know how some objects and activities were made in Prehistory. Based on archaeological materials identified in the chalcolithic settlement of Vila Nova de São Pedro we will cover 5 very interesting themes: 
18 January: Chipped Stone
22 February: Ceramics
14 March: Cheese Production
4 April: Rock Art
16 May: Weaving


Conception and Orientation: Pedro Cura (Prehistoric Skills Events) and Andrea Martins (Association of Portuguese Archaeologists and UNIARQ)
Minimum age of participants - 8 years.
Two sessions: Morning: 10.00 - 13.00 Afternoon: 15.00 - 18.00
The activities will be in Portuguese. 

10 € - AAP Members and Archaeology Students;
15 € - 1 Adult AAP Member + 1 Child (+ 7 € for each additional element)
15 € - 1 Adult
20 € - 1 Adult + 1 Child (+ 7 € for each additional element);
Discounts: 10% on registration for more than one session.
