The Lauresham experimental archaeological open-air laboratory in the UNESCO World Heritage Lorsch Abbey is heading towards the high point of the year. On May 8, 2022, the head of Lauresham Claus Kropp and his team will present topics from the early Middle Ages on the Day of Experimental Archeology to watch and participate in and offer a public forum for science with lectures.

On this day we let visitors look over the researchers' shoulder and give a lively impression of the sum of our work. The programme is aimed at both families and trade visitors and is free of charge.
