Come and join us for a weekend focusing on experimental archeology on 6-7. November at the Medieval Center in Nykøbing Falster.

A network meeting where we would like to meet with others interested in experimental archeology in Denmark and hear what you are working on and interested in. A weekend with discussion, presentations, workshops, professional sparring and exchange of experience, as well as an opportunity to make new contacts, investigate the potential for interdisciplinary collaboration and take stock of how things are with experimental archeology here in Denmark. Do you have questions, need materials, tools, extra hands etc.? Come and join!

The medieval center provides sleeping accommodation and a place where we can gather and talk. Our reconstructed medieval market town is closed for the winter, but we can be outdoors as well - so if some want to work on a few projects and be more hands-on, this is also possible. Expenses are your own transportation and a little for food. Arrival Friday evening, departure Sunday afternoon / evening.

This weekend takes place on the initiative of Thit Birk Petersen and Roeland Paardekooper, Medieval Center, Jannie Marie Christensen, Aarhus and Tríona Sørensen, Viking Ship Museum Roskilde.
