What are farm animals and what are their benefits for humans? The keeping of farm animals has changed drastically in the last 1000 years, just as the way we humans live has changed drastically.

Today, on our tour of Lauresham, we want to explore what farm animals there were on an early medieval manor, what they were used for, how they were kept there and why this type of animal husbandry is no longer possible today.

Afterwards we will carve another pendant out of bone.

Age level: primary school (from 3rd grade). Children accompanied by adults
