Come to West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village and meet members of Ealdfaeder as they demonstrate the use of herbs, methods of cooking and bread baking.
Activities include a display and explanation of Saxon cooking pots, plates, bowls, drinking vessels and cooking methods (including heated stones) and creating linen from flax – retting, spindle spinning + silk tablet braid weaving & wool nalbinding textiles.

Dates: Saturday 1 - Sunday 2 June
Times: 10am-5pm (last entry 4pm)
Tickets: Standard admission - Adult £6, Concessions (disabled, over 60s, Job Seekers, Income Support, students) £4, Children (5-16 years) £3 Family (up to 5 family members, including at least one adult and one paying child) £16
