Gain an insight into the history, diversity and conservation value of hedges. Learn the techniques involved in laying a hedge and get stuck into your own stretch of hedge. Through this you will learn the basics of pleaching, laying and dressing the hedge. Assessment of hedge's suitability, efficient working and health & safety considerations will also be covered. For people aged 16 and over.
