At the weekend, the living history group "Tenaigos" moves to the Federseemuseum and presents live the clothing, culture, way of life and economic activity of the Bronze Age people. In addition to various handicraft techniques, an exciting insight into everyday life 3000 years ago is given. The members - archaeologists, anthropologists and those interested in history - use the findings of archaeological research with a focus on the Federsee to bring "Europe's first Golden Age" closer.

Countless artefacts from the Bronze Age have been preserved hidden in the Federseemoor: sunken offerings, boats, knives, axes, countless pots, bowls and other utensils tell eloquently of this era. The settlement "Wasserburg Buchau", which was built at the end of the Bronze Age 3000 years ago, was like a "Swabian Troy" for the excavators. Not only the original finds in the museum testify to this, but also the authentically reconstructed houses of the settlement in the open area.

During the  public tour at 3 p.m.,  the perspective is expanded and the life of the Ice Age hunters and pile dwellers is presented in the outdoor area.

From  1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.,  visitors can try throwing the Ice Age spear thrower, make shell jewellery, bake bread over an open fire and enjoy a small tour on a Stone Age boat.
