As you know, Nød teaches a naked woman to spin... but there are better ways to learn it! This week we put full focus on all sides of sides of the indispensable clothing production; everyone - both rich and poor - must wear clothes, but in the Middle Ages you didn't just buy your clothes ready-made in a shop. Behind even the simplest piece of clothing lay a long and painstaking process.

 When the experienced Finnish medieval group Merry Swan visits the Medieval Center again this year, guests will have a rare opportunity to follow the entire process behind clothing and cloth production in the Middle Ages up close, from spinning to weaving to dyeing, carving and sewing.
