The historical recreation festival TERRA IBÈRICA returns in 2022 after two years canceled due to the pandemic. The Iberian Citadel of Calafell will be the main space where the program of activities will take place this year from 28 to 31 July.

For the organizers, the Department of Historical Heritage of the City of Calafell and the historical reconstruction group Ibercalafell will be a very special edition, since after this two-year hiatus we will put a lot of excitement for this special event for us always with the aim of disseminating knowledge about the culture of the Iberians and their historical context in an exceptional setting such as the Iberian Citadel.

It will also be a special edition because we will dedicate it to Josep Mèlich i Garcia , who was artistic director of the Iberian Nights (a forerunner event in Terra Ibérica) and also of the festival in some editions. Mèlich left us last year and we want to pay a modest tribute to the nights of historical recreation (July 29 and 30) with the participation of the theater group La K-Mama de Calafell, of which Mèlich was the director. .

This IBERIAN LAND has for leit motive OTIVM ET NEGOTIVM , leisure and business. This will be the theme of this year’s nightly show. The activities are for all audiences  (except for the "Lidé" performance)  and in some cases it will be necessary to make a reservation as we will limit the places.
