On this day the Lauresham open-air laboratory welcomes visitors to the first theme day of 2024: “Winter in Lauresham”. A variety of activities clearly convey how people in the early Middle Ages experienced this time of year, how they insulated their houses, preserved food and what work they did in the cold and dark months.
