Together with the experimental archaeologist Jürgen Junkmanns, we want to try to recreate neolithic hunting arrows true to the original based on the model of the arrows from the quiver of the man from the ice from Similaun, Ötzi.

We use heat to straighten the arrow shafts made from snowball or dogwood saplings. The arrow is debarked and smoothed with the flint blade, and the notches are made at both ends. Sharpening is done with horsetail and sandstone! We make birch pitch to attach feathers and arrowheads. We make the arrowheads from flint or bone.

Each participant builds an arrow.

Time: Saturdays from 10 a.m. until around 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
Price: EUR 200.00 per person.
Participation from 16 years of age.
