Facilitated Dialogue: An Emerging Field of Museum Practice

Facilitated-dialogue programming sets a new paradigm of communication between museums and the public. It is an outcome of the discourse on the social role of the museum that has been taking place for decades and opens a path for the structural inclusion of certain social science skills in museum interpretation as well as of a variety of institutional bodies, either public or private.
