For just one day everything in Lauresham will revolve around the Theme of "Music". Watch craftspeople making early medieval instruments. Learn about the lyre, how it may have been played and what has been found of it archaeologically. Listen to the dulcet tones of Gregorian chant and learn of the Old High German Epic that is the Hildebrandslied.

In collaboration with the Vor- und Frühgeschichtlichen Archäologie der Philipps-Universität Marburg, the glass furnace project BFP2018 will be carried out in the archaeology park Roman Villa Borg in the first week of June. Open to the public is the "Glassmakers Weekend" from 9 to 10 June 2018.
