For the anniversary «10 years UNESCO World Heritage Site of prehistoric pile dwellings around the Alps» we are going to the lake together with the Office for Monument Preservation and Archeology. At the Zuger Landsgemeindeplatz we provide information about the world heritage and the pile dwelling.

Many Zug residents are unaware that there is a UNESCO World Heritage Site here. For the anniversary, we bring the population closer to their pile dwellings. On the Zuger Landsgemeindeplatz we present archaeological finds, provide information about the unique soil archive of the pile dwellings and tell how and where you can experience and learn more about the time of pile dwelling and archeology in Zug. 

For children there is a miniature lake of Zug, where they can “dive” for archaeological finds, and a competition with attractive prizes.
