From approx. 4000 to 600 BC Chr. People have lived time and again by the lakes and moors around the Alps, the remains of which have been wonderfully preserved in the moist soil. Rare jewelry, old boats and some of the earliest wagon wheels have been preserved, but also parts of the houses that sometimes even stood on stilts, so-called poles. If you like, you can not only find out why the pile dwellers built pile dwellings, but also actively follow in their footsteps. You shouldn't be squeamish if you want to weave willow, stamp and attach clay to build a wall.

At 3 p.m. on a public tour of the open-air site, the arch from the Ice Age hunters to the pile dwellers will be stretched.
