2.2 tons of limestone and 15 cubic meter of wood are required to produce enough quicklime this weekend so that the royal court of Emperor Charles IV can continue to grow this year. Our craftspeople demonstrate medieval crafts that have almost been forgotten. Experience what happens when the lime is slaked, witness how granite chunks are turned into bricks and logs into beams.
