We are holding our first ever Stone Age Camp in August.
Tickets will be £25/day for camping and food, (or £100 for the whole week) under 16s £10 and under fives free. You can come and help build a Neolithic hut, weave fencing for our arable plots, cook over the fires, soak up the tranquillity of our lovely site in the Cambrian mountains. There will be people practicing various skills during the days. Nights for star gazing and feasting. In addition there will be short courses and taster sessions for those that want an introduction to the practice of stone age crafts. These will be charged at £20 for each half day session and as spaces are limited we advise everyone to book in advance – essential for courses like basketmaking and tanning where materials must be prepared in advance. Children’s sessions (archery, games, crafts) will be £10 for each half day.
Do something different this summer – come and be a part of this pioneering little festival of ancient arts!
The programme will be published soon. Dates are as follows:
- Stone Age Camp and Tuition 18-24 August
- Public Open days 25th and 26th August
There will be a limited number of free tickets for those with practical skills who are willing to demonstrate, or to musicians – please ask if you think you have a stone age skill you can share. If you are interested in running a teaching session for which you will be paid by attendees – please let us know.
To book for attendance/camping/food, please fill in the form on the website and send it with payment to the address given.
