Embark upon “Midwinter’s Magical Quest” right in the heart of Hampshire and immerse yourself in the enchanting world of ancient traditions brought to life! Join us on a heart-warming journey as we celebrate winter traditions from a time long before the commercial holidays.
On Wednesday 15 and 22 November, the Hunebed Center will open its registers especially for illustrators! Led by painter Esther Schlebos, a two-day workshop will take place where you will have the opportunity to closely examine and sketch real fossils and faithful replicas.
Since 2022 I started as Archeo-tolk (archaeao-interpreter) to make children, teachers and families enthousiastic for life in the Stone Age. This is done through hands-on workshops and showing (hand-made) replicas of artefacts.
The multi-period event "Weibsbilder" becomes reality on the 18th-20th. May 2024 in the Bärnau History Park!

Evidence of belief and cult can be traced back to the earliest beginnings of human history. The worlds of thought and mostly complex cult practices of our ancestors have a great appeal to us, but they are difficult to understand or even reconstruct.

This Living History event will take place next year in May and June. It will be an experiment in Stone Age living lasting for six weeks. During this time we will have openings for people wishing to participate for one week at a time.
