Have you always wanted to learn how to tan (fish) skin? During this day workshop we will start making salmon leather. We do this by using fat-tanning: one of the oldest methods of turning rough skin into a beautiful and similar piece of leather. This method is not easy and requires a lot of time, but is certainly worth the hard work. The leather becomes incredibly beautiful, strong and durable. With a properly tanned salmon skin you can make anything: from bags and bracelets to entire clothing items. We are going to work with 3 fish skins, the aim of which is to get 2 skins ready and you can finish the 3rd at home. (depending on the weather)
