I have always had a passion for history and art, so I decided to bring my two passions together to create 'Arteology'.

As a teenager, I was spending most of my free time digging near Poitiers and Angouleme in France (did it for over 10 years).
Student: BA & Master in Medieval History ( Université de Poitiers) - Sciences Po IEP Bordeaux
Then adult life in corporate communication.
The Kamianets-Podilskyi Museum under the auspices of the EXARC association with the cooperation of the NGO "Chorna Halych" is holding the first international scientific and practical conference "Living history and experimental archaeology".
At the annual conference of the EAA there will be several sessions related to experimental archaeology which EXARC happily supports. They fall in theme 4, "People of the Present - Peopling the Past".
Please note: the conference is hybrid, but only EAA members will be able to see presentations or participate.

This new exhibition will be officially opened at 11 a.m. Archaeologists and excavation technicians are guests in the museum from 12 noon. They bring their tools with them and demonstrate how modern archaeology works.

I'm Anton van den Heuvel (1964), I started learning ancient skills at the end of the eighties at the prehistoric village of Eindhoven. I have worked very closely with Hans Horreus de Haas, he was very inspirational to me.
